Been playing KH1 again. I just beat Hollow Bastion for the first time (after the most stressful fight against "Ansem" ever, omg. My heart was pounding, as cliche as that sounds >.>)and chilled with Kairi and got Oathkeeper for Sora, and now all the monsters are hard again :(

Also: I will love him and pet him and hold him and name him George.

Jim and I were supposed to go to Boston. That didn't go well. We missed one train, chased down another and missed that too. We had a semi-fight. Meaning he got pissy and I got upset. We didn't talk most of the way home and I was convinced we were going to be in some bitter fight. But he asked me to stay (which was probably not a good idea in light of recent events) but I did. And we made up. We watched SLC Punk which was beyond over hyped and wicked lame. It was the stupidest thing I have ever watched. We made fun of it a lot.

Last night should have been one of the worst nights, but it was funny considering the circumstances. At the beginning of the night I wanted to crawl into a hole and die. By the end of the night I was red faced and laughing my ass off. I slept pretty good after everything was sorted out.

Hi. So. This may almost count as real update on my life.

I read this line a year or so ago and it really struck me. "There are two kinds of secrets: the ones that aren’t actually secrets because you tell people, and the ones you try very hard to forget about, and you can forget almost anything if you try hard enough." I have both kinds. (I guess everybody does.) Of the second variety, one is that I am an addict. No, there will be no details.

So two weeks ago I said, "God, I know you can hear me, and if you will help me with this, I promise to go cold turkey and never do it again." About six days later I caved and ... yeah. But in doing so I had a big realisation about what exactly caused it, and how I could work around that, and I had more hope.

About four days after that I caved again and I said, "God, I really appreciate your effort and I'm really sorry because I know I've been so stupid but I just don't think I can fight this right now and I think we should dissolve this agreement."

Yesterday the tools of my trade just ... broke. That's both really funny and kind of terrifying. But mostly funny.

So for my epic crossover, I've got the first three chapters written, along with a few other random scenes. This is good, yes? So why am I feeling frustrated and not looking for a beta yet?

I still am having problems writing the prologue. I know everything that needs to go in there, but I just can't get it to go.

For most of the fic, everything is in Shinji's pov, with a few random scenes in Roxas's pov or Heero's pov. Technically, since Shinji doesn't show up in the prologue, I should make it from Roxas's pov. But it's just not working. Since the plot requires I can't write any of the fic in Riku or Kairi's pov and because I'm just plain bad at writing in Sora's pov, I might just end up putting it in Naminé's pov if I get fed up enough. Or should I just write it as a general narrative, and not bother with anyone's pov?
